Sure databases like PostgreSQL and DuckDB do specific things well, but they do have tradeoffs. In this session you will learn about when it can be a good idea to choose an open-source database for your application, but you will also learn about some of the features that make SQL Server (and all of the related Azure services) stand out ahead of the “free” open-source databases.
